African Grey Parrot as well as the Timneh Grey Parrot have a big capability to copy human sounds.

They could start doing it at young age, but the major part of them will not pronounce a correct word up to one-year-old. 

Whit a bit of dedication and stimulation, these smart birds could become a perfect pet. The Grey Parrot, usually would rather the opposite sex on his owner, these becomes important at the moment to select your pet.

The African Grey Parrot is bigger than the Timneh one. The African Grey Parrot has a red tale while the Timneh has a brown tale and his body is colored in a more dark gray than the African Parrot. 

Both species come from Central or West Africa.

About his food, the best diet for these type of parrots, is seeds, fruits and vegetables; but it is advisable as well to add a bit of fat, by giving them sun flower seeds, but no more than a 10% of the total of his daily food.

At the moment to buy a Grey Parrot, we have to take in account that he will need a cage around 60 to 90 cm. cubic. We can neither forget they love playing, and for this reason we will have to provide them with the appropriate toys.
