Generally green, narrow frontal band to nape variably yellow. A few birds with scattered red feathers. Length: 38 cm. Distribution: North West Costa Rica, North to Eastern Oaxaca, Southern Mexico. Natural diet: Seeds, fruits, berries, flowers and buds. Like’s spacious aviary, hard chewer!!! Metal construction recommended. Breeding: Regularly achieved. |
